This is for where the nose gear strut goes through that trapezoidal hole in the firewall.? Now I'm switching over to the quilted firewall blanket and need to transplant the doghouse to the new-style firewall blanket. How does Lancair recommend that we attach those stainless steel doghouses to the flexible firewall blanket?? I'm assuming that you actually attach it to the firewall and not to the blanket proper. Years ago I riveted one of those prefab stainless steel nose gear doghouses onto the stainless steel firewall of my 360.  This is for where the nose gear strut goes through that trapezoidal hole in the firewall.  Now I'm switching over to the quilted firewall blanket and need to transplant the doghouse to the new-style firewall blanket.

How does Lancair recommend that we attach those stainless steel doghouses to the flexible firewall blanket?  I'm assuming that you actually attach it to the firewall and not to the blanket proper.

Thoughts?  Comments?  Pictures?

Thanks.
