Randy,
I experienced the same with VM and so have ripped all of their hardware out of my plane with the exception of the fuel probes and replaced with an Electronics International MVP-50. So far, the header tank fuel probe is not providing the right signal but I'm sending it back and if need be, they'll replace it with one that works.
