Thanks for the input guys. I talked to Lancair today and the
problem is that since I followed the set up in my plans it ends up
with the after pushrod being too short. So I either have to make
my aft pushrod longer (costs about $100 in parts and shipping) or I
did take my bob weight and mounted it on the underside of the
bellcrank arms. This brings the mass lower and closer to the
pushrod. Lancair didn't see anything wrong with doing
this. Anybody have any comments on this
approach? Bryan
At the other end of the elevator travel with the bob-weight arm up high,
will it be in conflict with the rear bulkhead hat shelf and close-out
panel?
