It takes a bit of time installing the process, but I believe the end product is worth the time. Start with 1/16th inch thick flat sheets of PVC or plexiglass. Cut one strip 1 inch wide and a second strip 0.5 inch wide. Glue the narrower piece against the side wall 0.5 inches back from the "viewing" edge of the window. The wider piece is placed on top of the first piece with it's edge at the "viewing - clear" edge of the window. (Depending on the thickness of the headliner material, you may want the edge back away from the "viewing - clear" edge of the window the thickness of the material). Re-inforce the two layers with 2 BID 2 inches wide. The result is a 1/16th wide slot into which the edge of the head liner is stuffed. During installation, only one small area separated from the side wall. I have not seen a better looking window trim. Take your time making the rounded corners. I fused the two layers of plexiglass with MEK before installing them in the aircraft.
