I spent a bunch of time changing the shape of the fwd edge of canopy and
trailing edge of fwd deck so that it all compressed rather than wiped,
created a uniform 1/4"gap all round etc and planned to use the half round
seal from Lancair. However I found that the smallest amount of pressure on
this material was enough to slightly distort the frame whilst canopy is
closed.
Gave up on that waiting for a solution which it looks like we might have
here. Can you tell me if it will comfortably fit in a 1/4"gap?
