Finally, after months of struggling with sealing my forward hinge canopy
(LNC2 360) I stumbled upon a new weatherstrip product that has (so far)
proved to be very effective.  

The new weatherstipping is  "Super V" by Manco, with self adhesive backing.
I found it at the local Wal-Mart (in gray only) .  Following is a

I installed the open side of the "V" toward the incoming air, or toward the
outgoing air with the idea that air pressure would help to tighten the seal.
Not only has the "Super V" sealed better than any other products I have
tried (including "P" strip), it is also much more immune to the shearing
motion at the front of the canopy (which had tended to tear off
weatherstripping).
