Having heeded the advice of those before me on this issue, I am installing a
DPDT switch for my landing gear.  One pole will be for the gear, and the
other will switch the feed voltage (probably not the correct term) to the MAC
servo.  The plan is to run the servo at 12 Volts when the gear is down and
some lesser voltage when the gear is up. This should provide reduced trim tab
rates when at cruise, but a higher trim tab rate when the plane is slow,
flaps are deploying, etc.  I plan on starting with 5 Volts with gear up and
refining this during flight test.  

This idea (multiple feed voltages) was originally published in the LNN
newsletter, but incorporating it into the landing gear switch was not
mentioned at that time.

As you know, I'm not flying yet, so there will be no flight test report until
the next millenium...
