TOMORROW, Wednesday May 16 the Senate Commerce Committee will
finalize its bill to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The
big airlines have worked overtime to include a regressive “user
fee” tax on the small businesses and towns across America that rely on small
planes.
However, Senators Nelson and Sununu have stood up for
Small Businesses by proposing an amendment to strike the “user
fee” flat tax provision from the bill.
