I have ES kit 142 and I have 1/4"
lines too. I agree with you - once the wings are closed, I don't see any
way to change them.
I've never had any problem with my vent lines
and though I've heard mention of a SB to go to 3/8' aluminum tubing, I've never
seen it. Can anyone tell me what that SB number is? The only one I'm
aware of dealing with vent lines is SB 042, which only talks about the flexible
hose between the NACA scoop and the vent line.
