After 6 years
of building the moment ot truth came on friday May 11th at 11,45pm when the
blue/white bird took to the sky from Stockholm Barkarby Airport. Everything went
as planned and it was a great moment. SE-XXX is the No 1 swedish and
scandinavian homebuilt Lancair IV. Now follows 50 hours of testflying to correct
all minor defects and adjustments and after that to get the final
permission from EAA to fly abroad and with pax. In Sweden we have the very practical procedure
that EAA issues the airworthness permission for homebuilts and not the
swedish FAA.
