The part is GM 459-104. The factory does not know if this is a one-time problem or more pervasive. Please check your gearbox for this part or may all your landings be soft. A note on the ailerons on the IVP: We were able to balance our ailerons with lead by extending the lead forward of the flange on the top side. We did this by making a mold utilizing dental alginate and plaster and pouring lead to the right shape. The aileron is also several pounds lighter than the one we did with tungsten powder due to the leverage advantage of moving the lead further forward. If you want more details, I can publish here or email me directly. Thanks for all the great information on this site.
