Jeff,
I have flown with and without the yaw dampener in my non-turbine IV-P and I found the yaw dampener unnecessary.
On Tim Ong's recommendation, I took mine out and don't miss it or the aft weight.

How important is the TruTrak yaw dampener on the non-turbine LIVP? What have been people's experience. I have the wires back there but have not installed the rudder servo until I had a chance to fly for a while.

TruTrak yaw damper works great. Nothing on the outside to slow you down.
Dave.
