Back when I worked for a living, all available titanium alloys ( including the favored 6Al4V) had a galling tendency even worse that stainless. Maybe better alloys are available today. (We used titanium for the spoiler actuators on the F-111, but went to extreme measures to avoid Ti/Fe contact.) Dick Alden L320, N425A
