>Ok, another question... I've searched the archives and nothing comes up. What force strut is to be used on the nose gear over center gas strut?

>100 lbs?

Lancair POH specifies 100 pounds minimum.

I used a 120 pound strut from McMaster-Carr because I expected it to leak off over time like the Lancair unit did.

The 3 separate struts that I bought from Kit Components held above the 100 pound minimum for an average life time of one year each.

The one strut that I bought from McMaster-Carr has so far, demonstrated a service life time of about 8 years and is still going strong.

The 110 pound strut from McMaster-Carr would probably be strong enough in view of the low leakage rate.
