Page 72-70-06 in the TCM Overhaul and Maintenance Manual outlines a simple check every time you shut down.(for TSIO-550) 1. Stabilize RPM at 600 +/- 25. Slowly bring mixture control from full rich to idle cutoff. Engine speed should increase 25 - 50 RPM. 2. If speed increase is less that 25 RPM, adjust idle mixture CCW to enrich mixture. If speed increase is more that 50 RPM, adjust idle mixture CW to lean mixture. 3. After each adjustment, run engine up to approx. 2000 RPM before retest. Regards, Bill Hogarty
