Don,
My 235 was supplied with pretty flimsy hydraulic pressure
switches and required adjustment to turn the pump off in
both directions. I'm assuming you have already checked
wiring and have the LO switch and HI switch in the right
places. They look the same but are set internally at
completely different pressures.
You can open them by removing the 2 little nuts off the
tiny treaded rod and then slip the case up the wires.
Inside you'll see small springs under compression. The HI
switch springs are under more compression than the LO.
Turn the little internal nuts to remove compression to
lower the point that the micro switch triggers. This
requires a little fooling around to get it right but be sure
to back off the nuts a turn or so (less spring pressure)
when you've found the trigger point.
