Build a little operational amplifier circuit. You can include miniature potentiometers for adjusting gain, empty (low end) and full (full scale). That's what I did for my Flap position indicator and it worked out fine. You can buy the OP AMP at Radio Shack or any electronic parts store. I will send you a schematic if you are interested.
