There certainly are a lot of theories on how the reflex flaps came to
be! Here's another one....
It is my impression that a characteristic of our laminar flow wing is a
large excursion of the center of lift with airspeed. At higher speeds it
moves significantly aft and needs the reflex flap setting. What say the
aeronautical engineers in our group?
