In addition to all the tips you'll find/get, this is a great product for the
curved surfaces of a Lancair (see attached picture).

It has three metal rods that are inserted to adjust the stiffness for a
particular task. They make a smaller/shorter one also. I've found
Eastwood's sandpaper to be pretty good quality and much cheaper than the
expensive 3M stuff.
However, you'll want a more rigid sanding board for the flat areas (and/or
areas only curved on one plane - like the wing skins).
