  I also have a MT 3 blade electric prop. My O-320 B1B narow deck would not accomodate a hydraulic actuator.. Advantages:  about 10% better climb performance, very little vibration, it changes pitch at 1 Degree/sec so it's hard to surge your engine, with the 1200 controller it goes to high rpm when power is reduced to idle, and it can be almost feathered manually, uses about 2 amps at 12 volts.  Disadvantages, costly and the 6 year mandatory overhaul can be costly too.  LML reports sometime back that additional machining at overhaul time approximates a total $3000, if I rember correcty, I'm trying to get a line on this as mine is due this year..  Electric supply, I come off a 4AH battery with 35 amp in fuse then to the panel to a 10 amp Klixon circuit breaker I use as a on/off switch then thru the 1200 controller out to the slip ring and brushes to the motor contained in the hub with mechanical high and low stops.  I've had an electric 2 blade and now a three blade for over 11 years and  am satisfied with their performance.      Don Skeele   A&P  N320J
