Bill & Sue -

Beautiful repair job and documentation. I told you before, Bill, that you ought to take up writing.

Yesterday a friend and I were cruising at 6,000 feet in our new, shiny ES. Out of nowhere three buzzards in formation appeared -  slightly above and to the right of the fuselage. In an instant, your replay of events crossed my mind because they looked like they were aligned with the right wing and might conform to their flight manual and go down. Instead, they maintained altitude and we slipped by the formation. I swear I could see the leader giving us the evil eye. They were that close.

Thanks again for all your great commentary.

4 weeks after our bird strike our 320 took to the air once again.

Yesterday we drove the wing down to Chesapeak airport, installed it on our
plane and flew it home. I tested it to redline and to sustained 4 g loads.
That hysol's pretty sticky stuff!

Today, the wing comes off again. Still have to do final body work and paint.
Maybe another week or so till it's completely back to normal.
