Dan Schaefer has brought up a very interesting aside in regards to flap
reflex.How many of you 320/360 drivers out there are using your flaps in cruise
to trim your nose down?Based on Dan's statement about wing twisting (and I
strongly agree).My 360 had to have the flaps out of reflex and and maybe just a
little more to trim the the nose down above 160 kts.I HAD the original spring
trim that was supplied with the kit.I now have a geared trim system which in
itself only partially solved the problem.As I have reported in the past.I ended
up with the long engine mount and a substantial(1.7 ")movement of the forward
CG.It made my plane a completly different airplane..... A real joy to fly
In addition with full fuel and two bodies and baggage I do not need Rodeo Bull
Riding seat time to go flying.No longer pitch sensative at high cruise
speeds........ Just some thoughts
