This unit converts the serial data from the 195 into the analog right-left steering data required by the S-Tec. Tell your technician to couple the S-Tec to a three-position two pole rotary switch, then you can switch between GPS 1, GPS 2, VOR. Last time I purchased a Smart Coupler it cost $ 199.00.
