Michael, I'm in the same boat. I paid 13,000 for my first year and this
year it drops to only 11,000 since I've had no accidents! I even got a
little sticker that I can attach to something showing I'm an accident free
pilot. There are no other companies that I'm aware of that insure a 4-P.
With a 25,000 deductible it seems that the only time the insurance really
benefits you is if you really crash it which if you do that much damage you
might not have to worry about flying anything again. Lance at the recent
Osh Kosh Lancair banquet said they are in discussions with another company
but when I renewed last month nothing else was available. John Wright
