 Hi,

One of our Houston based Lancair buddies is looking to upgrade.  He's got a
O-320 and MT (electric) prop for sale.  Contact him directly with data
 below.

 Hi, Larry

Would you mind passing along to the Lancair troops that I am considering
selling my engine and prop combination. Probably the complete firewall
forward including ignitions, starter, carb, alternator, prop controller,
 etc.

I am thinking of buying the XP-400SRE (250 hp)  with a new hydraulic MT
three blade scimitar prop. The engine I am using now is a Lycoming O-320-D2B
(160HP) into an MT three bladed electric prop. The engine has about 1100
hours and the prop was overhauled last summer. I have always wanted more
horsepower for high altitude, hot day takeoffs with Janet and I both aboard
with our luggage. The O-320 is sufficient for moderate altitudes and temps,
but out of Denver or above it gets kinda touchy. I have really enjoyed
operating the 320 and the electric prop, it just works beautifully. But I
have always been a hot-rodder at heart and this is the engine that our plane
came with. The one we were building was going to have an IO-360, but we
traded for this one before we completed ours.
