Adamson" : Colyn, The owner and I went thru build assist together at the factory, he was doing a 10wk build completion program with Lancair on a Legacy, not IV or IVP. He was a great guy and had spent some time, while waiting on various things to complete, providing customer support on specific Legacy items at the factory. I'm sure there were windows of 2-3wks during those times. His Legacy was *almost* complete. In fact, it had had its time flown off and it was at the paint shop, he was back in NJ for family commitments and was slated to go back and pick up his Legacy the week following his fateful weekend. For those that knew him, he was a great guy and will be sorely missed... Beyond that, I have no facts around the "missing blade" topic. The NTSB report has been provided and it made no mention of such a thing. We'll have to wait for the final to know more, but speculation and rumor only goes to tarnish the memory that some of us share... His name was Tom Dayon just so he doesn't continue to be "nameless". Hope this helps, Alan
