Bryan,
I had my door come unlatched after
takeoff a couple of times during the first year I was flying (operator error due
to not going fully over center with the handle). The hooks on the latches
catch on the rollers and the door will not open. I tried as hard as I
could to pull the door back in enough to re-latch it and I couldn't do it, which
really makes me wonder if it's even possible to open the door inflight. In
each case, I had to land to get the door closed again.
