Regarding lightning, etc.  Stay away.  You need a Stormscope or equivalent
and my opinion is a minimum 25 mile avoid area.  You definitely need static
wicks to fly in rain.  Heavy rain will make communications almost impossible
without wicks.  I have Precise Flight speed brakes which I'm very happy with
after 350 hours of flying and my tanks hold 104 gallons (100 useable)  Hope
