Try a Twin-ax connector if you'd like a spiffy, quick disconnet. Should be good up through 600-800MHz, with the TNC good to over 1GHz.
They look like a standard BNC but have two pins inside with the shield externally. If I remember correctly they also come in TNC versions for even lower loss and better shielding.
