 The low and fast takeoff profile is not recommended by any aircraft
manufacturer I know of nor is it safe. There is a definate difference in
having more altitude vs more speed. Jeff is definatly correct. If speed and
altitude were the same we would be able to have perpetual motion, ie. no
friction (drag).
