We are working with the folks at WSI and are in the middle of discussions regarding lower subscription pricing to experimental customers.  For those that currently have AV-100’s there will be no charge for the new S-band receiver, however a one-year subscription commitment must be made for the service through WSI.  WSI has agreed to rescind their original requirement of a 4-year subscription. 

 

For those considering the purchase of the Marine Antenna, that L-band antenna will not work with the new S-band receiver as the frequency range does not match the new unit.  I will update those interested in datalink as our talks with WSI complete, which should be in the next couple weeks.  We will also post information on our website www.d2av.com
