Scott Crossfield spent a couple of day with us in January when I hosted the Midwest Aviation Conference and Trade Show. He was our keynote speaker. A true gentleman. Even when his talk was not going on he hung around listend to others talk and even offered his compliments on their presentations. He wanted to shake hands with every one who came up to meet him and posed for "grip and grins" until his arm was sore from the handshakes. I met Al White years ago while working on an accident investigation. Like Scott, Al was very much the gentleman. He treated other pilots as equals, although after meeting him I knew I was standing in a room with a giant in aviation. Bruce spoke at the Armed Forces Staff College when I was a student there. I was amazed at his tale of perserverence. They all will be missed.
