I wouldn't so easily dismiss it.

If you make a statement like "cylinders are designed to run near 400 df" you COULD supply some information like what the clearance is when running at 330 and what it is at 390 and why you think that is better. or "in a lab test two sets of cylinders were run at these two different temperatures and blow-by was reduced by 20% when running at the higher temp".

The LOP "religionists" can make such statements for every claim they make.
