Hi
This could be a very serious problem to all.
I don't know if its only in my installation but when the hydraulic cylinder
pulls the overcenter bracket up and at this stage the new overcenter spring
should break, then on extending the gear there is a tendency for the
overcenter bracket to rotate forward. At this point the bolt heads catches
the top flat area of the GM4 plate and hangs the gear.
I decided to round this top part of GM4 to prevent this from happening.
Or am I overlooking something.???

[The 3/8" bolt which mounts the o/c link to the GM4 should have a fender
washer immediately under the bolt head, and then a small washer (sorry,
I don't remember the AN numbers offhand) which captures the bearing in
the o/c link to the boss on the GM4. The fender or area washer will
keep the o/c link assembly from rotating out of plane. Seems to me
there have been drawings of this in one or more issues of the LNN...
check your back issues. <Marv> ]
