It is forward of the firewall and described as round anodized gold color. The mixing box has two cables, one to adjust cabin heat by varying the mixture of air coming from the hot side of the dual intercoolers with the cool air from the cold side of the dual intercoolers (or from the cold side of the 3rd intercooler if installed). The second cable serves as a manual pressure dump. I am thinking someone who bought a TSIO 550 and then decided on a turboprop, may not have used this mixing box since I am told a Beech flow pack often is used instead. (Needless to say the cabin will be arconditioned) Thanks Joe Joe Neustein 915-595-2700 office 915-276-8316 mobile ---- Original Message ----- From: Neal Longwill To: Lancair Mailing List Sent: Friday, March 17, 2006 10:36 AM Subject: [LML] Re: TSIO550 Mixing Box Needed Joe, If what you are calling a mixing box is the composite piece that bonds to the cowl to hold the air filter then i have a new one along with the round aluminum cover. I also have a new 4P e glass cowl for sale cheap. Neal Longwill nlongwill@austin.rr.com (512) 917- 6066 N550NL Legacy FG 80 hours, Austin, TX
