John, It looks terrific. Axle has been doing a great job in
supervision and offering the Artist License!
After all of this painting is finished you should do what I did. I had
the local "CLEAR BRA" installer come and put protective film on all of
the "at risk areas" It cost under $400.
I treated the following:
Leading edges, wings, horiz, vert.
Bottom edge of baggage door
All cowling mating surfaces and cowling to airframe surfaces (both
sides)
Front of main nose wheel pants
Top and front of nose pant starting at the strut and continuing over the
nose. (Protects from damage by towbar)
The leading edges of the landing gear strut fairings
The leading edges of the engine inlets on the cowling
I need to have the door sill of the main cabin done
I need to have the surface on the fuselage done where the baggage door
could hit if opened too far
This is small money for huge repairs if nicked.
