I've heard the metallic particles cause antenna interference (potentially drastic reception range reduction). Have you had any trouble? Any comments as to why or why not? I would love to use a metallic paint but not at the expense of nav/comm performance. Also, what experience have people had with clearcoats? Someone recently recommended against it because of discoloration with age but are there other opinions? And do we have to live with those nasty edges between paint colors (caused by tape lines) or is there a way to smooth them (say, by covering everything with a coat of clear)?
