It's unclear if they were similar to the Sentry or slightly modified L-IVs. I remember seeing some of them under construction at Lancair back in 2001. One of the things I recall was that they were adding hard points to the wings. Ya' gotta' wonder where those planes are now and what they're doing. The article goes on to quote Lance as saying that they built the Sentry on spec and the Mexican Navy liked it, had an order ready, and then underwent a regime change and everything "just sort of stalled".
