I fail to see the connection between the quality of a product and the "gregarious coefficient" of the designers. How many authors do you know that use pen names? I see a recalcitrance to engage the end user as a sign of experience. It is usually the ones without a clue that have the loudest voices.
John is right in that some empirical data is needed. Until then the bloviators will reign.
