Chuck,
I'm not really offended by the Pinpoint site. Their site is very typical of
a startup operation that wants to begin letting people know they're out
there but doesn't want to give out a lot of information because they're not
quite ready for prime time. (I work for a 3 year old computer startup and
our website did the same thing for the first 2-1/2 years.) It just seems
odd to me that suddenly there is quite a bit of fanfare about Pinpoint
Inertial (see Direct To's ad in the April issue of kitplanes) but so far I
haven't been able to find any real information about them.
As for:
"In this case, you will have to trust
the EFIS company to have done the due diligence on your behalf."
Do you mean the same way Direct To, presumably, tested the 425EX before they
started shipping them?
