In response to various messages regarding engine sag....

Are there any facts on why/how the engine sags?  Compression of the
isolation dampers, bending of the metal mount, deflection of the firewall,
all of the above???

Has anyone closely measured/tracked the changes in each these over time
which lead to the changes/settling?
