It is my understanding that this is not too difficult to do - however, I
don't plan on trying it. It;s not like holding altitude to the inch or half
inch. It is sort of like waterskiing barefoot. I have been told that it
feels like a high a speed taxi over regularly spaced ruts. I have seen it
performed below me on the surface of the Missouri River on a group flight to
Oshkosh two years ago and I captured it on video. I have since seen it done
on Lake Mead by a friend flying below me. It is advisable to do it over
glass smooth water as waves just might capture a tire.
