I do prefer the "break" but since no else uses it, it does become a problem
as you state. As to a "carefully executed high speed pass" there is no such
thing for a novice pilot-- it is an oxymoron. Like performing "carefully
executed" brain surgery on oneself. Unless a pilot has taken a course in LAT
(Low Alttiude Training) offered by the military services-- then it is likely
that one does not know and appreciate the physics and aerodynamics of very low
altitude flying.
