What is the official designation for a IV? for a IV-P? for a 320? for a
360? If I put a turbine in a IV is it still the same designation? Thanks
for your help. Ross

Happen to have lunch at the cafe on Hawthorne airport (CA). Next door
was the FSS
and they were kind enough to make a copy of the page of the new
designators for Lancairs. Here they are for those that want to be
official when filing their flight plans.
Mfg / Mdl Type / Wt Class Designator
Lancair 200/235/320/360 L1P/Lt LNC2
Lancair 4 L1P/Lt LNC4
Lancair ES L1P/Lt LNCE
Safe flying and always land wheels down.
