In addition to multiple pieces... Cutting on a 45 bias (like glass/carbon)
helps. Some folks cut it 90 degrees because its not structural - but it does
not bend/distort as easy that way. The Lancair folks (builders assist)
sometimes make cuts in the edges to allow it to overlap on acute angles/curves
- of course this will leave gaps on obtuse curves.
