  Overall it looks like I am running rich and or it is a thirsty engine.  More
power settings up to 29 inches and leaner runs etc. down lower might  reveal
faster speeds .

  I suspect that I could cruise at same speeds as before and really save on
fuel with the increased powerplant and propeller efficiencies.

  Please give me your thoughts.
Bob,

I Just came across some numbers Arnie gave me.  He has a blueprinted Lycon IO 360 with a MT 2 blade prop, ram air and Dual P-Mags.

@5500 MSL, 18C, 25.1 MAP, 2500 RPM, 195 KIAS, 218 KTAS, 12.8 GPH
@6500 MSL, 24.4 MAP, 2450 RPM, 190 KIAS, 215 KTAS, 12.3 GPH.

I think his indicated is a bit fast (he thinks mine is a bit slow).

Before I did some speed mods, my Lycoming IO 320 with a Hartzell CS 2-blade prop and LSE ignition.
