You answered your own question. Start saving your money. Also you will get
beter performance as well as speed with an adjustable prop. My MT original
was wood of course, three blades, engine counterweighted and the shop
assured me all internal parts were within 1/2 gram of matching. The
accelerometer test showed .025 inches persecond and he could not determine
where to add any weight (if needed) because it hunted between 7 and 11
O:clock. The new scimiter prop appears to be smoother yet with the
electronic ignition. Rotating metal mass of metal props will shake. No way
around the laws of physics.
Test flights did not occur today. All IFR conditions. Oh well, maybe
Tuesday.
