 Hi,

Here are some more interesting pictures from our Mexico trip, Bill and I had
didn't quite agree on the ones he's sending.  He likes airports and airplane
pix.

You never know what's behind a wall in Mexico.  The B & B, La Casa de las
Flores, is on this dubious street, but what a gorgeous, comfortable place it
is!  We highly recommend it, located in the Guadalajara suburb of Tlaquepaque.
The garden was full of hummingbirds (and one  mouse).

The colorful boats were hokey and tons of fun, with vendors coming up to each
of the 3 Earthrounder boats selling everything from necklaces, to roasted corn
on the cob to actually cooking you a full meal.   The Earthrounders are big
partyers, no doubt about it!

You can see that there was damage from the hurricane at our hotel in Playa
del Mar by the ropes holding the trees up.  This was Las Palapas, a very nice
75 cottage hotel with great gardens and a nice white beach, where you can
toast yourself or sit under a thatched palapa with a good book and people
watch.  The hotel really made a huge effort to repair damage from Wilma and
everything is up and running very smoothly.

Did Bill tell you about the takeoff from Toluca?  We leaned out the engine
and then it took forever to get to rotation speed.  You must be sure you're
out of ground effect before retracting the gear, then the climb out is very
slow, even the biz jets climb out flat.  It was the squirreliest takeoff I've
ever made.

If you're curious about flying in Mexico, just ask Bill.
