 How did you come to the conclusion that Hartzell props make an engine run
 smoother?  My understanding is that Hartzell props are very particular about
 engine vibration -- there are many certified engines that require a
 restriction (yellow arc on the tach) on engine speeds due to particularly
 harmful vibrations for the installed Hartzell prop.  On the other hand, a
 properly balanced prop (aluminum or composite) should induce no vibration to
 the airframe.
 
 Of course, I could be totaly out to lunch.  If you have access to info/data
 that I don't I'd love to see it!
