Hartzell has an experimental two-blade prop that was given very good marks by the RV folks in the latest RVator magazine. It was several mph better than the MT for the same fuel flow as I recall.

I'm going to install a Lycoming 390X in my 360mkII outbackgear.
Now I have to choose a prop.
I was told a 2 blade Hartzell would be faster than 3 blade MT.
And Hartzell makes the engine run smoother.
What would you reccomend? And what lenght?
